In 1979, Dave Reynolds founded Loeschhorn's for Runners in Fountain Valley, which later evolved into "A Snail's Pace." Facing industry challenges in the 80's, it became a runner hub, renowned for its inclusive atmosphere. Eddie Johnson's fortuitous encounter in 1992 led to his pivotal role in the company. Expanding to multiple locations across Orange County, it earned recognition as a top-running store in America. With Dave's retirement in 2014, Eddie, Tiffany, and Joe continued the legacy, emphasizing community engagement and innovation, including introducing self-defense classes for women. Today, A Snail's Pace remains the beacon in the running community, blending humor, camaraderie, and service excellence.
